Description: Antique French Spelter Mantle Clock Japy Freres for Restoration This is a lovely antique 19th century French spelter clock, with a gilded case fashioned as a young woman with a stack of corn, raised on a profusely decorated base with flowers, grapevines and leaves. The clock is not working, and is now in need of repair and restoration. There is a piece broken off at the top, which is photographed separately, there are small areas of damage in the gilt, the clock is missing a hand and the pendulum is missing.
