Description: Description of item for sale: This antique/vintage Gothic Revival prie dieu is from France and it dates to the to early/mid 1900's. It's made from solid wood that has been painted black. It is solid and strong and in very good antique condition with only minor nicks and scratches consistent with its age and no woodworm or dry rot. The burgandy upholstery is in very good, useable condition. As we do with all of our furniture, we finished it with a coat of antique grade paste wax that will maintain its beauty for years to come. Dimensions: 38" high, 16" to seat, 18" wide and 16.5" deep.
