As the carving goes toward the top it begins to fade. . Where the eyebrows and mustache are also have faded, all consistent with age. No damage, no cracks or chips.Condition consistent with age. This is an Estate piece of a collector of large Asian as well as African pieces of Art and artifacts.This has been presented to me as over 100 years old. I have attempted to do a lot of research on this and the prices I see are very high.
