Description: Antique black forest german Sohne Cuckoo Clock. Carved bone numerals and hands. (Both have signs of previous repairs, but look decent for age). Clock overall shows signs of repairs. Leaf carvings on top seem to have been repaired at some point. Clock works, ticks, cuckoos. Clock will need adjusted to cuckoo at the correct hand times. Was going to adjust, but I don't want to risk damaging anything. Bottom left finial had been repaired before from an obvious break. One side wall had a small crack but nothing to be alarming. All in all, it's in good shape for being from the early 1900s/ late 1800s. The tail of quail has a piece missing on the tip of the tail, although it does not get seen at all. Whoever done these repairs, I feel did a great job, not to mention numerous dates on back plate of service visits. The clock movement has no viable mark I could see. Either it has been replaced, or I can't see it. Clock is distinct to sohne carving and inlay pattern. Please look at photos carefully and feel free to ask any questions needed.
