Description: What a lovely oil lamp! We're believing it to date circa1880 to 1920. Original, as found. Pressed satin to clear glass font. Hand painted porcelain column. Not signed. Burner is hammered brass where attached to glass font. Mark on the wick winder is Eldorado, W.G.Corp. Original wick present from when we acquired the lamp. All brass parts are between the marble and porcelain, the porcelain and glass font, and the burner itself. Original green felt on bottom of the marble, as found. We did not remove or disturb it to look underneath. Approximate weight: 4 lbs, 4 oz. Approximate measurements on all parts: Total height is 14 1/2". Marble base is 5 1/4" square. Porcelain column is 3 1/2" diameter at lower end and 2 1/2" at upper end and 5" high..Brass connector between porcelain and glass font measures 1 3/4" at both ends. Satin glass font measures 6" at widest diameter. 3 1/4" high. Brass burner 2 3/4" tall by 3 1/2" diameter. Approximate measurement for chimney base could possibly be 2 1/4". Hard to measure that area.
