After winding, the wind up knob will not catch and goes back to original posistion. Case is in excellent condition! Very beautiful! Case contains no chips, cracks, etc. Measures 7 1/4" in height x 5 3/4" wide. Beautiful, old clock! I'm unsure of the maker of the clock since I could find no markings.
