Made with clear glass with manganese- hence the faint purple cast which happens when decades of sunlight causes this pretty chemical reaction. Interior has vertical lines, exterior has horizontal lines. The grid diffuses and spreads the light of the bulb which was very important in the early decades of electricity. Some flakes on the fitter edge, otherwise in very nice condition. 4/16/a
