Description: Antique Small Round Bentwood Dry Grain Measure by EB Frye Wilton, New Hampshire Description: During the earlier years, wooden buckets similar to this one were common for measuring dry ingredients. This small dry measure made by E.B. Frye & Son, now a historic landmark was manufactured in their Wilton, N.H. historic mill. This dry measure is a small size measure 5 3/4" inch diameter and 3 ½ inch in height with an overlap from right to left with eight nails (or tacks) securing the seam. Well constructed of bentwood with early, small round nails or tacks, it still retains the E.B. Frye original incised stamp in the bottom base. A wonderful collectible from the Northeastern United States region with rich, aged appearance.Note: Please refer to “Condition” for additional informationCirca: Most likely Early 1900sDimensions: Diameter: 5 ¾” Height: 3 1/2”Product Weight: 7.9 ouncesPrimary Colors: Dark BrownPrimary Material: WoodOrigin: U.S.A., Wilton, New HampshireMaker: E.B.
