Description: This sale is for a Victorian era three tier Letter Holder which is decorated in a hand painted design featuring white flowers against a purple background. The edges of the Letter holder are trimmed in gold gilding; however, the gilding does have age wear. The piece is unmarked as to its origins, but I suspect it could be a Limoges piece. This piece is approximately 6" tall and is 7" wide. It has a side depth of 4-1/2".There are no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs, but there is wear to the gold gilding. The piece is quite heavy.
