Description: This is an antique vintage 1830's original Eli Terry jr. weight driven wood works mantle clock in working condition. this is a time strike clock, with a bell strike. it is a half column mantle clock with reverse painted lower glass door. there is minimal damage to this clock there is a couple of scratches to the finish and a small chip on the veneer ( see pictures) the reverse painted glass has a horizontal crack that is visible when you get close to the door. it is more visible from the back I have taken pictures to show the crack ( see pictures) , it has been mended to keep it from shifting. There has been a new top piece added to the clock, the original crown did not come with the clock. It has been replaced with a solid piece of hard wood. With a shape used during the time period. ( see picture) . The clock measures 31 3/4" x 16 1/2' x 4" . The clock comes with the crank there is no door key. The label inside the clock has a date of 1832 hand written in top right corner of the label. This is a rare find and as such it will be packaged by UPS to insure safe delivery . I ship UPS shipping costs to be determined on request. Local pick up is available on this clock, it is heavy . There is no international shipping on this item.
