Description: This is a great antique new home industrial base treadle Sewing Machine the head that came off of this was patented around 1880 so I assume this is from the late 1880s 28 1/4 inches tall by 20 inches wide by 17 inches deep please notice that this has a wooden Pitman arm Which has wear at the bottom it has a beautiful pedal on it that seems not to have been worn very much at all. The grips on it are really detailed, and the lettering on this machine are high-quality the top of the base has notches in it, which I have never seen on other new homes that I’ve had everything seems to be in working order. Please see all the pictures for the overall condition. You won’t find one like this very often. Thanks for looking. I have included a picture of the plate of the head to illustrate the age of this base.
