Apollo 11 crew signed "National Geographic" cover from the December 1969 issue, "First Explorers on the Moon". Signed on the image of Aldrin standing on the lunar surface, with Armstrong reflected in his visor. Signed in black inks: "Neil Armstrong", "Michael Collins", and "Buzz Aldrin". Cover is matted with another "National Geographic" cover from December 1978 signed by the three pilots of the Double Eagle II, after they made the first trans-Atlantic balloon crossing. Signed in various inks and pencil: "Ben Abruzzo", "Maxie Anderson" and "Larry Newman". Matted to an overall 21.75" x 16". Some fading to the Double Eagle II signatures. Included is a Steve Zarelli LOA for the Apollo 11 signatures. Overall very fine.
