Description: Apple Macintosh 128K recreation using Raspberry Pi Pico - Assembled This project uses a Raspberry Pi Pico to emulate an original Macintosh 128Kusing a VGA monitor and USB keyboard and mouse. Read more here: https://axio.ms/projects/2024/06/16/MicroMac.html I was on the verge of ordering a $10 pcb/kit from the US to build one, but then the postage was $30 to the UK,so I designed my own PCB instead for a bit less. This is very much a prototype board, there are things I would change, but it works fine. I have 20 purple PCBs available and 4 green ones, if you have a preference. You need to supply: a Raspberry Pi Pico (£6), a VGA monitor or HDMI screen with a VGA adapter,a USB hub and USB keyboard and mouse, a 5v 1A+ Micro-USB power supply. If you've been playing with Raspberry Pi kit for some years you probably have some of this already. Sale includes a download link for 2x UF2 files for the Pi Pico with 11 games compatible with 128K Mac, see photos. Also includes a download link for Mini vMac build of Mac Plus and 128K Mac for Windows. This means you can download old Mac apps from Macintosh Garden, and prep them for use on this boardusing a Windows 10/11 PC (or Mac or Linux), before you turn them into UF2 Pi Pico images. This recreation really does only have 128k available, but it uses a patched Mac Plus ROM image, so floppy disk imagescan be 800k. Price includes VAT, receipt provided. Happy to post worldwide for £7.99.
