Armenian Miniature Paintings Art Book First Edition 1966 Superb Condition

Description: Stunning book of Armenian art of the Monastic Period in vibrant elephant folio size plates. Every page still has its tissue guards in place and it doesn't appear this book has ever been opened beyond what I did to present these photographs. The book jacket does does not have any scratches or tears however it does have some yellowing and age spots that are evident on the inside of the jacket but barely evident on the back or front of the exterior of the jacket. I've photographed the little wrinkle at the top of the jacket edge and both corners. BUT the red leather book with gold embossing is in pristine condition and the book overall is in exceptional condition with only the slightest yellowing along the edges. The art is vibrant and the extensive forward is informative and written in an approachable manner. I've attached a little photo flipping through the pages to show you a glimpse of the tissue liners and the beautiful art. The book measures 18" tall x 14" wide x 1 1/2" tall and weighs 7 pounds. This is a first edition, all in English I'm pricing it lower than others available on line even though it appears to be in better or similar condition because....well, it's large and it belongs with someone who treasures such beautiful artistry and workmanship.
