Released in 1976, this aperture-priority body was part of Asahi's "M" series of cameras featuring decreased sizes and simplified use. It features an electronically-controlled metal focal plane shutter that is more durable and reliable than earlier cloth-bsaed shutters. This camera has been serviced with relube of the film transport and advance mechanisms for an ultra smooth shooting experience. Further, the bumpers and door seals have all been replaced, with cinema-style wool yarn seals for permanent lightfastness for the entire life of the camera! Nice vintage condition with light use wear, perfect mechanics, and clear viewfinder. Also included is the much-beloved SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/2 standard prime lens, with wonderfully smooth mechanics and optics clear of scratches/haze/fungus, matched strap, and lens cap.
