Description: For Sale: AUDIO RESEARCH VT100 MKII TUBE AMPLIFIER with black face plate. This amp needs no introduction, as it is considered to be one of the finest tube amps ever produced. ARC is well known for its manufacturing of high-end audio equipment and this amp was no exception. Over the years, the VT100 MKII gained iconic status for its warm rich sound. The VT100 MKII you see here has undergone a complete factory overhaul from the ARC factory in 2018 - including a completely new set of tubes (over $1200 just for the tubes). Will provide ARC receipt for update work. Since then the amp has been in storage and only recently unpacked. There are no more than 20 hours logged on this amp since the new ARC tube set was installed. Basically, this is a new VT100 MKII you are looking at, which at the time of purchase cost $6500. Unless you could find a new one today (unlikely), this is the closest you will come to getting a new VT100 MKII. Condition is excellent, with virtually no blemishes. Comes with manual and power cord.
