Description: BELT vintage leather saddle Made by Fujita for FUJI * Made in Japan* On many very high end Japanese bikes + would have been stock equipment on a Fuji top models in the late 1960s & early 1970s.* VERY thick leather (not, as is sometimes seen, thinner with added layers underneath that.)* May be NOS? (We believe this saddle a take-off from a new bike, never ridden and placed in storage. Any shop wear occurred as it was shuttled around in storage.)* Estimated 1960s-70s?* Dimensions: 6"/15 cm wide, 11"/28 cm long.* Dark brown (May have originally been sold as black but changed with age)* Chrome plated steel seat support rails (no sign of any clamping by a seat post.). CONDITION:* Very good structural & cosmetic condition.* Leather is very thick and still very supple with no cracking.* Note in the pictures that this saddle has no "sag" or twists, i.e., it is very symmetrical* Some cosmetic blemishes and a sort of antique mottled surface effect. Very authentic and good looking!* It appears that this saddle has never been tightened and therefore has none of the subsequent elongation that occurs with great use.* Please study the pictures!
