Description: I have been a master glass beveler since the mid 1980’s. Imake extensive use of beveled glass in my work, and own and operate a fullsuite of machines and wheels for beveling and engraving. For the last 25 years, I have primarily worked in largescale public art, specializing in glass and steel. I have retired from tha nowand am going back to my old work, which was very ornate art glass panels, usually featuring hand beveled glass. This is a simple and classic beveled glass design, built of1/4" thick glass with a 1/2" bevel, all hand beveled and engraved. The border pieces are glue chip glass, which I also produce here in my studio. I have used zinc came rather than lead for a window that is lighter, and much stronger. I also prefer the smoother finish. The framed panel is 31" in diameter , in a very well built alder frame with black lacquer finish This is not poorly crafted commercial bevel clusters ofthin 3/16" glass. This work is for people who are looking for classicAmerican made beveled glass windows . Pleasecontact me for packing and shipping cost. Panels of this size ship easily byUPS or fedex.
