Description: Big Antique German 24” Hertel & Schwab 151 /14 baby doll. Her bisque head is solid dome with delicate blonde molded and brush stroked painted hair. The brown glass eyes sleep and she has a closed mouth with molded tongue. She has tiny dimples on cheeks and one on chin. Gorgeous brown eyes with painted eyelashes around the eyes. There is a tiny chip on one eye casing (see photos). Marked on back of neck 151 and 14. Her head has a small nick on the top of head that may have happened when it was fired (see photo). The composition baby body is in great shape. The wrists are jointed and both hands have all fingers with red outlines. Fingertips are worn (see photos). She has all toes with red outlines. Her clothing is a long antique cotton baby christening gown and slip. Both are fragile and full of tears. She has vintage thigh high socks and baby shoes. None of the clothing is original to the doll. She’s a Beautiful doll!! I am not a doll expert and have described it to the best of my ability.
