This 32 piece set is made from slightly stiff HDPE plastic with a variety of Mid-Century work, recreation, and school furniture and accessories. Almond-tan color pieces include desks, chairs, conference table, upholstered bench, shop counter, bank customer table, file cabinet, phone booth, exercise horse machine, ping-pong table, hand truck, cabinet with slanted top, skid with handle. Teal-blue pieces include teacher desk, chair, easel, ladder, 2 student desks, 4 student benches, salon chair, and quasi-futuristic stereo TV console. These accessories were first offered in the 1950s by LOUIS MARX AND COMPANY and were included in a number of their legendary playsets including The Skyscraper Building, Tom Corbett Space Academy, Space Patrol, Rex Mars, Captain Space, and Operation Moonbase.
