Description: Breyer #10093, 2024 Breyerfest special Run, Glossy dapple grey Edge of Glory, Ashquar mold. There were 2,400 of these guys made. I don't normally collect this mold as I'm not a fan of the portrayal of the modern Arabian. But there was something about this guy that spoke to me. I got two of these at Breyerfest and was looking for a darker dapple grey, but this fellow, while really nice, isn't what I was looking for. He's more of a medium shaded resist dappling. There were light, medium, and dark versions on this release. I haven't seen any two alike yet. One of the best modern resist dapple greys Breyer has done in my opinion. He does have a little tiny overspray around his face (like little black dots), but overall a VERY nice example of this run! Stands well, and his only real flaw seriously would be the previously mentioned overspray and you can see them in the close up shot. Unless you are close, however, you can't really see them. NOTE: the pictures show him really dark, he is not, he is more medium colored, but does have some darker shading. The lighting in my house is just terrible so it doesn't show his true color or details. As I go through my collection, there are models I've decided to part with. Having more than 2,000 models is a bit much to handle right now. Too many are remaining packed away and I want to be able to display the ones I love most. So as I go through the collection, many will be listed, but it will be slowly. Rest assured since I'm super picky about my models, any major flaws will be noted in the auction descriptions. All models will be listed postage paid. Model comes from a 43 year collection. I'm a live shower and well known for how picky I can be about my models. I will describe them as I would want them described to me. I've decided to downsize my collection and I will be offering up congas and models I no longer have intentions of collecting over time. This will be a slow process and with more than 2,000 models to go through, it will not be a fast process. These models are well cared of, some have been restored to original finish by professional artists, and many took years for me to acquire. Any defects or restorations will be noted in their description. If a model came with and I have a COA or any other form of documentation, they will come with the model and it will be noted in their descriptions. There are options for shipping and I will do my best to get actual shipping costs if it's noted that shipping is extra. Shipping unless noted will be included in the price - UNLESS you are purchasing from another country. Shipping is EXTRA if outside the USA.
