Description: Bug Face vintage concert poster for Dec. 1, year unknown, at the S.D.S.F. Rehearsal Theatre, 4752 University Ave. in San Diego; the poster features an image of a pirate captain, and the text promises “Come see Captain Bug Face and his merry band rock San Diego.” The size is 8 ½” x 11” on white paper in good but used condition. I don’t know the year of this poster, but I think it was the 1980s or early 1990s. On the reverse side is a different flyer for the same event, from Austin Productions, with Daddy Longlegs, Bug Face, Sprung Monkey and Fudge House Trunk Baby. The house rules state “No fighting. No drugs. No boose. No bone heads. Security enforced.”This comes from my personal collection of underground music flyers. Back in the day, I had my own music zine, "Punk Research," so I collected quite a few unique items. I probably got this at a record store, or a college campus, or a community bulletin board.
