These Kris P Bacon 9.8 models are discontinued and have been Sold Out! This was introduced by Jerry Busse on August 18, 2018 and has long since been discontinued! Here is what he said about this unique Busse Design: The KPB 98 takes the historical design of the Kris to a whole new level of performance! The gentle, multiple recurves continuously draw whatever is being cut into the edge and increases the actual length of the cutting edge beyond what would it would be if it possessed a standard straight geometry. The weakest part of the Kris design has always been the strength of the tip. This is no longer the case with the armor piercing reinforced convex geometry of theKPB 98. The balance is excellent, making this large blade feel light and fast.The KPB 98 is a vicious fighter and perhaps the greatest hog sticker of all time!!!!! This was a very Limited Short Production Run by Busse Combat and I believe that there were not many produced and very few are available for sale. This is a very different model from your standard Busse Combat model in more than one way. This is a full size double Edge Dagger which is Ultra Rare and to have a Never Done before Kris Blade, well, that's just completely out of the box for a Busse knife. Double Edged Deep Dish Hollow Ground Blade with Blended Convexed Edge with the Convex Armored Tip. The 9.8 stands for the blade length which would be from the tip of the knife to where the handle starts. You will see machining marks on a naked INFI Blade, this is what Busse calls their Competition finish. This model was only offered in this finish or a coated blade. This Competition Finish cost $50 more than a coated Combat Grade finish. Only INFI was used for this model so there is no Battle Grade available. This one has the Magnum Textured Maroon Canvas Micarta Handle with a Skull Crusher at the end of the handle. This still has a Blended Convexed Edge that is razor sharp! This one is brand new, never used, carried or sharpened. This is made of the infamous INFI Steel which is a proprietary Steel is used ONLY by Busse Combat!
