The Active Duty is no longer available for sale through the Busse Combat website because it's Sold Out, which probably means it had been Discontinued! The Busse RadioActive Duty was introduced by Jerry Busse on Dec 9, 2020 and has since been discontinued. This model is based off the Active Duty introduced in 2002 which has since been discontinued even though it is one of the most popular and versatile models. The size of the knife makes it very easy to wear and carry everywhere if you prefer fixed blades to be on you at all times. The RadioActive Duty has a longer blade length by about half an inch longer. When the RadioActive Duty was first offered, it was only offered with a .155" thick blade and two different finishes which is the Hand-Applied Satin Finish and the BIG DC (Double Cut.) Than on April 22, 2022, Jerry Busse introduced the Military Overrun Mountain Duty and here is what he said: This special edition "Mountain Duty" features a non-glare, stone washed finish with tan canvas handles. The Mountain Duty will not be offered again to the public in this particular configuration for a minimum of at least 3 years. This is a Very Limited Offer!!! There are plans to offer the Mountain Duty on our website, but not in this special edition handle and blade finish. The robust "Mountain Duty" sports a slightly thicker blade (.190") than the Radio Active Duty (.155") while maintaining a very thin cutting edge. So this is no options on this one, all are stonewashed finished on a Flat Saber Ground Stonewashed Blade with V-Ground Edge. The handle is Magnum Textured Tan Canvas Micarta Handle. This Military Overrun Mountain Duty is thicker and stronger INFI blade than compared to the RadioActive Duty. Very few made. This is a popular and versatile models. The size of the knife makes it very easy to wear and carry everywhere if you prefer fixed blades to be on you at all times. There were very few of these Active Duty blanks made in this thickness made by Busse Combat in this Military Overrun Ganza. I purchased this knife directly from Busse Combat. This has a INFI Steel that is .19" thick! This is Beautiful and feels great in the Hand. The Flat Saber Ground Blade with a V-Ground Edge is Razor Sharp! This is Brand New, never used, carried or sharpened. This is made of the infamous INFI Steel which is a proprietary Steel is used ONLY by Busse Combat!
