Description: My grandfather brought this adorable child's chair home to my mom when she was a very young child, probably around the mid-1930's. We are not sure if it was new or used at the time it came to her. From the time it joined our family, it has not been altered. The measurements: Floor to top of the arm 19"Floor to top of the back in one slot 25"The length of the arm is 20"The width from farthest part of one arm to the other is 18"The back is adjustable. Reclines.We are not sure if this is a Morris Chair or in the style of Morris.We believe the finish on the wood is original. We believe the burgundy leather on the cushions is original.We are not sure if the pole/stick to adjust the back is original or not. Have not found a pic or anyone to verify one way or the other.
