Description: This listing is for a circa 1880's G. Tiemann & Co Surgical Field Amputation Set 107 Park Row, NY in original wooden box. This was the personal medical kit of "W. B. Linton", as inscribed on the brass plate on the lid. It contains the original key. Missing from the set are a finger saw, a tenaculum, and most likely an artery forceps.
