Clean Crisp Antique Sandusky Special 1/8" Weatherstrip Moulding Plane Inv#EB97

Description: I am offering for sale this Clean Crisp Antique Sandusky Special 1/8" Weatherstrip With Adjustable Metal Fence Moulding Plane Inv#RB97 These planes are used for the purpose of installing the metal weatherstripping in double-hung window assemblies. This Sandusky Special 1/8" Weatherstrip Plane has an adjustable metal fence, secured with thumbscrews. On the heel is the number 1/8". The cutter is stamped "Germany" Gussthal, it has some discoloration but clean. It measures: 6-1/4" x 1/8". I always suggest sharpening it to bring it back to optimal use. The finish shows typical nicks and stains (see photos). The wedge is original. The finish is nice with great smooth feel and patina..
