Description: COMMEMORATIVE COIN IN CASE 20000 PESOS 100 YEARS BANK REPUBLIC OF COLOMBIA 2023 The Bank of the Republic, in compliance with Law 2282 of January 5, 2023, will issue for commemorative purposes and for one time only, the coin of the 100 years of the Bank of the Republic.The obverse includes the image of a female figure representing the Republic, originally adopted in France in 1792. It has received the name “Mariana” and has been used in the logo of the Bank of the Republic since 1923, the year of its foundation.For its part, the reverse will include in the upper area the nominal value of the coin "20,000 PESOS"; In the central area it will present a map of Colombia that contains the legend "100 YEARS Generating trust", which will be surrounded by various symbols that represent trust, stability and the management and preservation of cultural heritage. It also includes a latent image as a security element that, depending on the angle from which it is viewed, will reflect the initials "BR" or the Arabic numeral "20", and the number 20 in Braille.
