Description: DARKWING DUCK #1, written by John Blair Moore, with artwork by John Blair Moore and George Wildman, published by Disney Comics in 1991. The title was based on the classic Disney animated series, and this was the first issue of a four-issue mini-series. This is a first printing, with cover artwork by Moore and Gary Martin. This is a NEWSSTAND EDITION, with a UPC code in the corner box, instead of the image of Donald Duck that appeared on the Direct Edition copies. The book would grade at about a VF-, with general light handling and shipping wear, lightly yellowing pages, light rippling on the top edge of the book, a light vertical 'lip' that runs parallel with the spine on the back cover, several light indentations caused during reading on the covers, light folds in the left-hand corners on the back cover, a light scratch in the upper left corner of the back cover, a light scratch in the lower right corner of the back cover, and other light marks. The pictures show the actual copy that the winner will receive. The issue will be bagged and boarded, and will be carefully packed for shipping.
