Text: The Task of the Danaides Artist: Keppler, signed in plateCondition: VERY GOOD — Clear, clean, colorful and bright; no foxing, creasing or folds (other than the centerfold), and very good margins, perfect for framing. A really beautiful image. Nice dark lines and definition. (Note: There are several small binding holes in the centerfold, which is quite common for these prints, given they were almost always collected and stored in large books.) This print is about 130 years old and guaranteed to be original. It’s an authentic old color lithograph from the aforementioned publication, and not a modern reproduction. The print is 13" x 20 1/2" with nice large margins. This print is truly ready to be framed and preserved.
