It is an original gouache on art board illustration for the Mickey Mouse Annual 1951. It was made for Walt Disney Studios. It is from the archive of Dean & Son, Publisher. The art board measures 9.5" tall x 7" wide and is matted. The artwork is approximately 4.5" x 6.5". It is an image of Mickey Mouse wearing a blue cap, blue striped scarf, big gold shoes and holding a trophy (?). The colors are vibrant and bright. There was a typed inscription taped to the back of the frame that I have included. I do not know the history, but it appears to be authentic. I found it with a second image with the same style and note. That one is on an art board made in England. There appears to be some writing in pencil along the bottom that has been erased. I cannot make out what it says. Under the mat is written "PAGE 64". Please see photos for specifics on the condition of this original art.
