Description: DISNEY Port Orleans ResortWalt Disney Resort, Orlando, Florida BON FAMILLES CAFE Bar Menu With Original Presentation CoverRare Item, Restaurant was open from 1991- 2000 Item for sale is a used Bar Menu with original Presentation Cover from Bon Familles Cafe, the once beautiful, sit-down, table service restaurant that occupied a gracious corner of Port Orleans Resort's lobby. Closed, the presentation cover measures 11.5" x +/- 4.75"Opened, the presentation cover measures 11.5" x 9.75" The presentation cover is dark brown leather/leather-like material. Inside, are colored paper menus describing the beers, specialty drinks, wines, and specialty coffee drinks. The paper menu sheets on the inside and back covers, tucked into the cover's tabs, are 11" x 4.25"The paper menu sheet, held in place by the gold elastic cord, is 8.5" x 11" This sheet is folded.There is a hard, clear plastic clip inside, at the top, left side of the presentation cover. There is general wear and tare as expected in a used bar menu. While there are some scuff marks on the back and corners of the presentation cover, it is in remarkably good condition. The gold-colored elastic cord serving as the menu's spine has lost its elasticity. The gold lettering and gold logo on the front of the menu is worn and dull. The name of the restaurant came from Madame Adelaide Bonfamille, a character (former opera star) from Disney's 1970 animated comedy film, "Aristocats" Currently, Scat Cat's Club and a walk-up Cafe (serving beignets) occupies some of the property that once housed Bon Familles Cafe. The lion logo for Bonfamilles Cafe, featured on the cover of the presentation cover and in the artwork found inside the menu, was also seen on a lovely wall fountain placed near the Cafe. This item is a must for a DISNEY collector of restaurant, hotels and menu ephemera. The item has been in my collection since the restaurant closed in 2000. It has been stored in a smoke free, pet free, and climate controlled environment. Will ship securely.
