With the remainder of the dough, knock out the bottom of the pan, forming a rim about 2.5 cm high. 2. Preparation of the cheesecake mass Melt the butter or margarine and let cool. Set the oven at 180 ° C without hot air. Separate the yolks from the proteins. Mix the cheesecake mixture with egg yolks, cottage cheese and melted butter or margarine until smooth. Beat the egg whites and mix gently with the cheese mass. Spread the finished mass evenly on the dough. 3. Preparation of the top layer For the cheese layer, grate the rest of the cooled dough (on a large grater). 4. Baking Put in a preheated oven. Temperature: approx. 180 ° C Baking time: approx. 70-80 minutes After baking, leave the dough for about 5 minutes in the oven slightly ajar.
