It was made from a 16-inch-long piece of cold rolled steel rod one quarter inch diameter. This rod was drilled on its end to accept a 8-1/4 inch steel rod 3/16 inch in diameter. Once drilled the quarter inch piece of steel rod, has been bent at a 45-degree angle 5-1/4 inch from the bottom to fit the machine horn angle. The top rod section has been machined on its end to a ball to allow for a small section of Chain to be installed which is used to holds the horn.
