Description: This is a very attractive, darker colored California English blank. Excellent strong grain flow, nice dark, smokey streaking through the warm,rich brownish walnut with a slight bit of fiddleback. Cut in the mid 1990's, it it completely stable and dry, ready to turn. The butt measures approx. 16.25" L x 7.5" deep tapering to 3.5" at the wrist. It is approx. 2.5" thick, plenty for a cheeckpiece if desired. The foreend is a nice match with a mix of rich colors and some fiddleback also. It is large enough for most projects at 2.75" x 2.75 and 14.25" Long.
