Description: Ex Libris William L Rabenstein Woodcut Book Plate Signed Framed Dated '34. Rare Book Plate of William L Rabenstein. I believe this is a type of woodcut print possibly with embellishments. That being said, the print is signed on bottom right by Edward M Rabenstein. Unfortunately I have no information on William or Edward Rabenstein. If anyone has any information regarding either name kindly share if possible. The print itself under a magnifying glass appears to be thick paper and reminiscent of woodcut prints. Along with that and not certain about this but may have added embellishments of white streaks throughout but since I have no way of knowing if made this way or added at a later time possibly by Edward since he had signed it. Am not an expert on this subject and my apologies on not having more information on it. The print itself measures approximately 6"9" and measures approximately 12.5"15.5" framed. It is matted and protected behind glass and is ready to hang. Has a small blemish on matting near top middle. Selling As Is. Please see pictures for overall condition. All sales are final.
