Description: Exquisite Antique Minton Hand Painted Porcelain Pink Cyclamen Floral Vase 1887 Beautiful antique Minton porcelain, hand painted on all sides with pink Cyclamen flowers in a naturalistic style. Printed Minton mark of the form that dates the vase to the period 1875 - 1891, plus an impressed crown mark (it's hard to see in the photo but it's there) which is a date stamp for 1887. The 1880s was a period that saw the introduction of many new and often strikingly modern-looking designs in porcelain and silver. The vase is decorated with raised gold at rim and base. The vase is 5 1/2 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches wide at the shoulder. Excellent. No chips, cracks or repairs. Minor gold wear just at the base, and inside the interior from use.
