Description: Fender Custom Shop Set Neck Telecaster Jr. Cherry 1996 Description FenderCustomShopSetNeckTelecasterJr.Cherry1996Fender Custom Shop's SetNeck Contemporary Series is a limited series released in the early 90's. The lineup included a particularly unusual model among Fenders that incorporated a set neck structure rather than the traditional bolt-on.This time we have a set neck Telecaster Junior. According to the pot date, it was made in 1996. Weight is 3.41kg.Nicknamed the TeleJr., it features specs that resemble a cross between a Gibson Les Paul Junior and a Fender Telecaster.Chambered mahogany body, slim C-shaped mahogany neck, pau ferro fingerboard 22F, 9.5R, and SeymourDuncan P-90 style soap bar pickups. The American standard style head has an unusual appearance with only the fender logo and no model name written on it. The custom shop logo shines on the back of the head. There are also models limited to 100 pieces, small pickguard specifications, and models with reverse (reverse) layout controls, but this one is not a limited edition model, but a regular layout, and has a different shape from the small pickguard. There seems to be a difference in this area depending on the manufacturing date. The bridge is equipped with the same type of non-tremolo bridge as the American Standard. The controls are simple 1VOL 1TONE with a 3-way selector, making this an interesting fender that allows you to enjoy the fat, sweet P-90 sound that takes advantage of the airy and plump live sound in any position.A hard case (there is no fender logo, so it may not be original) is included. (All other accessories such as certificates are out of stock)The set neck series is one of the few custom shop guitars in stock, and to be honest, I was surprised at the high quality of this guitar. It's not a fancy thing, but it's made to make better use of the P90 than I expected, and it has a thick, solid sound that's typical of Gibson. The playing feel is completely Fender, so it's a strange feeling. If Fender can make guitars like this, I honestly wish they would make more.Another point is that it uses Duncan pickups by default, and the sound may have been better using an off-the-shelf product rather than developing an original soap bar at Fender. I believe that this way of thinking and prioritizing simply led to the improvement of the quality of this model. It's lightweight, so you won't get tired on stage, and if you're looking for a guitar with a deep sound that mainly focuses on clean and crunch, I highly recommend this. The strap pin has been changed to a Schaller lock type, so you can use it immediately for live performances. If you want to own a Telecaster that's different from everyone else, add it to your cart now before someone else buys it.Exterior condition: There are minor scratches, dullness of parts, small dents, and scrapes. The strap pin has been changed (original missing item). Nuts have been replaced.Truss rod with plenty of roomCondition of the frets: Approximately 6 minutes left on the frets.Since they have been rubbed together, they are in good condition with no sound clogging!Nut width actual measurement approx. 42mmColor redManufacture year 1996pickup passivePickup configuration 2SNumber of frets: 22 fretsneck scale longWeight 3.41kgBody material mahoganyFingerboard material Pau ferroneck joint set neckNeck material mahoganySerial number CN201156Accessories Hard case Shipping Shipping by EMS or FedEx,UPS (international express mail service, with Tracking and Insurance, handling cost).
