Description: A petite, perfect Camas Valley arrow point that measures 13/16" long by 3/4" wide. Camas Valley points date during the Late Prehistoric to Historic period in the 1,000 to 200 BP. They are part of the Gunther Cluster of points and considered a local variant of the type. Made out of a dark gray piece of somewhat translucent Obsidian. Found in Shasta County, Northern Califorina. Very finely made, with nice flaking, and a classic type example. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. This piece came from the ex Val Valdivia collection. Mr. Valdivia bought this from a Northwest digger in the mid 1980's. It was acquired by C.J. O'Neill of Monroe, North Carolina. I bought this piece from Mr. O'Neill in June of 1994. I sent it to Greg Perino to type and for his verbal Authentication. This point will come with my artifact sheet. All relics are 100% guaranteed Prehistoric Authentic unless stated otherwise. I offer a 30 day return policy on all items sold with no questions asked. I have been collecting relics for over thirty years and I am a current or former member of the following societies: Genuine Indian Relic Society (GIRS), Central States Archaeological Society (CSAS), Authentic Artifact Collectors Association (AACA), and Arrowpack. Provenience and Provenance of each and every artifact is very important to me, and everything I own I have researched from the original finder - if known - right up to present time. All of this data will be included with every item I sell for all future generations.
