Description: A beautiful vintage book of some 95+ years old. In very good condition considering it is without dust jacket/protective sleeve. Exterior has some minor wear and tear and notable fade to back and spine (not severe, and black title, author and publisher text still visible: part of back and spine in its entirety has faded to more of an orange colour compared with original red boards as evidenced on front exterior). The interior is excellent+, with a small ownership penned to front end paper (dated 1933), along with a bookseller pencilled price note (there is also the remnants of a J. L. Stevenson copyright stamp, which has unfortunately not remained intact, as would be a nice addition). Otherwise, clean of personalisation and/or other defects. Overall very good/excellent and a sought after title given 12 colour plates (+ 21 black and white illustrations) by master illustrator Edmund Dulac.
