Description: Formia Murano Birth Of Venus Signed Figure Clear Glass Sculpture 12-3/8" Italy Handmade blown art glass sculpture made by the famous Formia studio of Murano, Venice, Italy. I'm not sure of the year of creation but I believe it to be early 2000s. It is a striking human figure on a bubble-like base that calls to mind Venus rising from the waves. It is signed on the bottom, Formia Murano. Sculpture is about 12 3/8 inches tall and about 3 1/2 inches wide at the widest part of the base. Note small mark on torso. There are no chips or cracks.
