Description: Here's a pretty footed bowl (variously described in my reference as a 'Tom and Jerry Punch Bowl' and a '12" fruit bowl"), which in any event as made by the Fostoria Glass Company of Moundsville, West Virginia. This is from their wildly popular 2056 line, called 'American', which was introduced in 1915. This particular piece was first produced originally in 1915 and was discontinued in 1970. The piece is about 7-1/2" tall at the sides, and is about 12-1/2" across the top (the foot is about 7" in diameter). It's in great shape with no nicks, chips, fleabites or other damage. Really beautiful piece of Fostoria American; I'm drowning in glassware as it is, and need to get rid of this because I'll undoubtedly be buying something else and need to make room for that.
