Additionally, paper advertising & signs, factory correspondence, original catalogues, promotional materials, marketing items, Fostoria Melamine & much more***DESCRIPTIONThis is a listing for a Vintage FOSTORIA #2770 Wine Glass in the Henry Ford Museum HFM Pattern ARGUS. The color is supposed to be Olive Green, but has the factory note on the base saying there is not enough yellow for the Olive green shade. This glass is signed on the bottom with HFM. This color in the Argus pattern started production in 1963, so this SAMPLE glass would be prior to that time. This was retrieved from the Factory Glass Morgue after the factory closed and was a sample item. This was made by the Fostoria Glass Company in Moundsville, West Virginia, USA.This is in very nice vintage condition. It is not unusual for Example & Sample items, from the glass morgue to have permanent writing, be unfinished, have flaws or damage as they were used for factory reference only. This measures approximately 2 7/8" in diameter & 5" in height. Please look at the pictures for the best view of the item as they are part of the description. Please ask any questions before bidding. This item weighs just under 1 pound before being packed and will weigh 1-2 pounds when properly packed for shipping & will ship USPS insured.
