Description: This fine graphite drawing by Hans P. Luetcke (1925-2007) is titled on the reverse "Ogalala Sioux Medicine Man" and was probably painted c. 1975. It is nicely framed and is evocative of the photogravures of Edward Curtis. Luetcke was born in Cologne, Germany but emigrated to the U S in 1957. He lived in the West for many years and is noted for his American Indian subjects. He had his last studio in Sedona, Arizona. our Graphite drawing in signed in the lower left corner HANS P. LUETCKE.
