Francis lived in Scottsdale, Arizona, for 47 years (1954-2001), maintaining a studio on Chapparral Road. Beaugureau is known for a series of thirty paintings, named The Indian Wars in Arizona 1846-1886, for which he thoroughly researched the subject matter and produced one of the most historically accurate records of the state's history. This large painting is striking and would make a nice addition to your home or office. Signed lower right, "Beaugureau" (copy of a recent appraisal comes with it). MAKER: Francis Beaugureau. APPROX AGE: Vintage. SIZE: This item measures 47-1/2 inches tall x 41-1/4 inches wide with the frame, and the art itself measures 39-1/2 inches tall x 33-1/2 inches wide.
