Description: This is a beautiful large WATER PITCHER with ICE LIP, in the sumptuous FRANCISCAN or FRANCISCAN WARE “Apple” pattern. It was manufactured in California, and the maker's mark or stamp on the bottom is the so-called "Television" mark used by the Franciscan potteries and showing a manufacture date of 1963. This fantastic Water Pitcher is in EXCELLENT UNDAMAGED CONDITION, with no chips or cracks! It measures approximately 8 3/4" tall to the tip of the spout, and holds around 64 oz of liquid. The glossy red and green colors are brilliantly bright. A fantastic survivor from the mid century Modern period of over 60 years ago! Please watch for other Franciscan items from a large collection that I plan to list on eBay in the near future.
