The film, which would go on to win Best Foreign Language Film at the Academy Awards, had its American premiere at The New York Film Festival, where this was signed by the legendary filmmaker and figure of the French New Wave on October 19, 1973. The signature, bottom edge, and spine of the program is impacted by a water stain (see photos). Notwithstanding the condition issue, a nice souvenir from the American premiere of one of Truffaut's most loved films.
