Description: Vintage 1971-72 Gibson SG200. Walnut body. Pickups are non original & have been changed to Seymour Duncan single coils. Bigsby was added. The bridge is non original. The strap buttons may be non original? Tuners are non original gold Schallers made in Germany tuners. The body has dings & scratches & a cracking? line around the control plate to the Bigsby as shown. Small ding impression in the finger board at the 7th fret. I assume the body was originally black. The headstock & back of the neck may have been sanded/refinished. Probably a non original truss rod cover. Headstock top right corner looks to have had a chip repaired. Back of the body has what looks to be a dowel that was inserted to fill a hole & also maybe in the front of the body in front of the Bigsby mount. Gibson logo has been sanded off the headstock. A new Gibson waterslide decal is included. I've seen the original "Gibson" logo pickup covers on Ebay. There are some exposed pickup winding wires exposed on the neck pickup as shown but the pickup is still functioning. Strings are probably 11's but not sure. Weighs 8 lbs 1.7 oz. Serial # 688334??? but I'm guessing, a bit hard to read. A very unique look to this 70's SG. It doesn't look like the others. I have more pics.
