Description: Gilbert 1807 Mantle Clock Mahogany w/Walnut Venere, 2-rod chime w/pendulum. In good condition, in working order, chimes once at every half hour and every full hour. This item is hand-wound, not electric. 21” length x 4 1/2” depth x 9 1/2” tall. Antique Circa 1930. The Face of the clock is in great vintage condition. There are some small superficial scratches to the top and on the bottom, as pictured but these are less seen areas. I’m guessing these light scratches can be fixed with a retouching pen from the hardware store. No damage to the working parts. Glass is clear and has no damage, the front hinge is in good working order, with some patina. Mantle clock comes with a winding key and original pendulum. Keeps time and chimes and half hour and whole hour. I can’t remember how often you need to wind it. Back door is great working order, push-button to open has an easy action and hinges are solid. Wood is solid. Very clean inside. This item has the original feet and adjustment screw. See pics as part of the description. This item will be carefully packed, well-padded, in an appropriate box. The pendulum and key will be packed separately in a small box to ensure they don’t scratch the clock during shipping. Please feel free to ask questions. Blessings.
