Description: Gore Infinium (previously known as Windstopper) is a two layer laminated fabric with a nylon ripstop face fabric and a lightweight Gore membrane on the backside. It weighs roughly 62gsm/1.8oz per square yard and the width is between 56" and 57" edge to edge. Not classified by supplier as "Waterproof" but it is able to keep out roughly 10 lbs per square inch of water pressure in tests conducted on new fabric samples. Over time that water resistance would diminish somewhat but it is marketed as a "highly water resistant, completely windproof, breathable two layer laminated fabric".
